Air Polish is Back!

Using fine powder, air & water this innovative treatment will quickly remove heavy stains and plaque without discomfort.

It might feel gritty and strange but this treatment is often used to remove stains and plaque for those with sensitivity or heavy stains.

The benefits of air polishing include the following:

  • Comfortable

  • Easy to get to the hard-to-reach areas, such as the biting surfaces of the teeth and in-between the teeth. Around misaligned teeth

  • Less abrasive on the enamel & the gums

  • Superior stain removal, caused by tannins in food & drink (tea, coffee, turmeric, beetroot, iron supplementation, smoking, red wine & chlorhexidine).

**Not suitable for asthmatics or patients suffering with COPD or other respiratory conditions**

Non- Surgical Periodontal Therapy £210

If you have been diagnosed with an aggressive form of periodontal disease known as periodontitis, where there is destruction to the underlying tissues; dental bone & ligaments that hold the teeth in their socket a longer appointment is needed to fully debride the area.

This will consist of 1-4 appointments depending on how many teeth are involved.

About me

Before working in the dentistry world I studied & worked with animals. At aged 13 years old I got my first job in dog & cat boarding facilities. I then studied Animal Care & Pet Psychology. I joined Borrow my Doggy as a carer and looked after & walked local dogs.

When I am not working my hobbies include walking, gardening, animal welfare, nutrition, health & wellbeing and writing. I am currently writing a book and hope to one day publish my first book.

I believe nutrition will be very complimentary to my dental hygienist services, for this reason, I begin my MSc in clinical nutrition in September 2022.
